No One Understands What I Do I have a passion for communicating.  I wish I had found this passion while I was in college but I stumbled into it years later.  I love working on advertising, marketing, videos, newsletters, branding, websites, and most any other form of communication.  I even went back to school to get a Master’s Degree in Communications Management. I recently started LogixStreet so I could help others with their communications challenges.  With my experience and my degree I planned to be a communications consultant because I have a skills to look at a company’s various communications strategies and tactics and help them compliment each other to reach goals.  When I started telling people that I was a Communications Consultant I got this blank look as they tried to derive what that actually meant.  I guess it sounded a bit intimidating.  What was so simple in my brain was a definite hang up for many others.  As I thought about it, communications in this day and age pretty much all starts with a website.  Can you think of a modern communication strategy that is completely independent of a website?  I’m not sure that I can. The secret to reaching your goals begins with your website or the hub of communications .  Having an informative and easy to navigate website is the foundation.  Once that is in place you start plugging in the other forms/channels of communications.  Link to videos.  Get people to subscribe to an eNewsletter or blog. Build your brand.  Market your products or services. It is kind of like a puzzle, except there is a lot of work to be done on each piece.  Don’t let the hard work on the numerous pieces go to waste because you don’t have your website established and working well.  At LogixStreet we specialize in communications and want to help you with your website.  Maybe you need a new one.  You may just need to make some adjustments to an existing site to make your site conducive to other forms or communications. And hey, while we are working together on your website, lets start talking about what communications channels we can branch off of the website.
